Firsts

You realize something important, something that you know would make you really happy.

And then you try to work for it, even though you’re not sure of how to go about it, or how to act, or what exactly to say.

And, all the while, you ready yourself, and try to grow up a little so that, if it happens, you feel like you can jump in without being scared.

And it feels like it just might happen.

And then it doesn’t happen.

And, in fact, the opposite of what you want happens.

And you think, “If only I was more direct, or said or did something sooner.”

That’s how I’m feeling right now.

And, after all that, it’s still my secret.

Okay, okay, THIS is my final costume line-up for Katsucon.  In general, I have been an unhappy, stressed-out puddle of Paula lately, and I&#8217;ve come to the realization that I lack all the motivation needed to make a giant ballgown right now.  I will make Cindy someday, though, because, damnit, I want to do all the princess poses and hug all the kids ;_;  (But right now, I just want to hide in my bedroom, watch Daria and sip tea.) Sticking Kobato in there instead because I made it for Katsu last year, but didn&#8217;t end up taking it because of lack of snow.  But hell, I want to wear it and be a fluffy snowflake with my grumpy stuffed puppy, snow or no snow. &#8230;also, the thought of Luna, Kero-chan, Ioryogi-san and Kyubey all stuck in my rolling suitcase together with four giant petticoats is one of the few things that I find funny right now. Zoom

Katsucon costumes! Ep 6 Usagi: Made this when Madoka started hating me, finished it yesterday :)  I always kinda wanted to make it, and UMBRELLA&lt;3 Madoka: It&#8217;s coming along now, I have ALL the accessory bits finished and the bodice half-done.  Hoping to have the rest done by early next week~!
